BRIDAL SPA-RKLE

Rejuvenate and refresh with these signature treatments at some of the best spas in Dubai before your special day.

Weddings are fun – for friends and family! For the bride and groom, it’s often a nerve-wracking affair. Guest management, shopping, the pressure to look great in every frame, handling the nitty-gritties of the ceremonies, the never-ending functions and the anxiety to ensure the big fat event goes off like a dream, can stress out even the most Zen-like bridal couple.

You may have plenty of help on hand but a little extra RnR before the big day always goes a ong way in soothing frayed nerves. If you are confused what to do and where to go, we have you sorted. Global Spa brings you a list of signature treatments at some of the hottest (or should we say, coolest?) spas in Dubai. Check in, leave your wedding stresses behind and emerge with your confidence and sass intact!

1.) EFOREA SPA, HILTON DUBAI PALM JUMEIRAH

Reconnect with yourself and get a heavenly glow after visiting the recently opened eforea Spa at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The state-of-the-art wellness centre promises a transformative journey for the senses with a plethora of rituals including massage, reflexology and facials. Additionally, the mini-treatments added to existing services (they can be enjoyed on their own as well), introduce you to special techniques from spa cultures around the world. We also recommend the couples treatment where delectable drinks and treats are served in a dry floating bed lounge following your spa journey. How luxurious!

Standout feature: The must-try is the Hammam zone, designed with a private majlis offering three indulgent traditional Moroccan journeys for a complete oriental experience. Transport yourself to an exotic world for those hours.

2.) PAUSE SPA CHÂTEAU BERGER, PARAMOUNT HOTEL DUBAI & PARAMOUNT HOTEL MIDTOWN

Want to look like a glamorous Hollywood bride? Then Paramount Hotel Dubai and Paramount Hotel Midtown should be your destination. Bringing French flair to the Middle East, the hotels from the Paramount Group house the only Château Berger establishments outside France. The spa products feature active ingredients to reproduce the effects of cosmetic surgery and combat aging (super combination, isn’t it?), making an unbeatable impact on your hair, body and skin.

Standout Feature: At Paramount Hotel Dubai, indulge in the tailor-made body massage ‘Journey of Senses’, an ultra-relaxing treatment that targets all tense muscles through a gentle course of relaxation and rejuvenation, resulting in regenerative benefits.

For a unique bespoke experience, head to Paramount Hotel Midtown for The Hollywood Glow ‘Signature Facial’ – a treatment that uses the virtues of vitamin C combined with the cutting-edge Dr Fogli’s serum, delivering immediate and long-lasting results. A perfect skin booster to give you a radiant and youthful look for your wedding!

3.) THE SPA, HILTON RAS AL KHAIMAH BEACH RESORT

Sometimes just a drive out of town can be the balm you need for the tired body and soul. A staycation with your gal pals at the serene Hilton Ras Al Khaimah Beach Resort is the perfect idea. The Spa at this lovely resort envelops you with a sense of calm the moment you step in. Take a pick from the range of rejuvenating treatments that are based on the healing powers of the four elements.

STANDOUT FEATURE: Our recommendation is the classic Hammam experience. The Charme d’Orient Ritual Hammam uses traditional products to deeply purify the body. A black soap scrub and Ghassoul’s wrapping will take the experience to the next level as it de-stresses and rejuvenates, leaving you with a delicate scent. This is followed by a 30 minute free massage. In one word: bliss!

4.) SOFITEL SPA, SOFITEL DUBAI DOWNTOWN

Experience the ultimate in pampering the Sofitel Spa, an oasis of peace and tranquility with its eight treatment rooms, a couples treatment room, dry sauna, steam room and hammam facilities, amid the busy energy of Downtown Dubai. The new generation of treatments that transport you to tranquility zone, just what the doctor ordered before the wedding.

STANDOUT FEATURE: The Sofitel Spa pays homage to the Middle East with the Moroccan Royal Hammam. The 60-minute ceremony is an experience of the Magreb traditional treatments, which purifies the skin and releases all tension due to the heat of the hammam and the purifying Black soap scrub as well as a wrap that includes a Dead Sea clay mask.

The treatment begins with heating up your body in the steam room to allow the pores to open up, then a purifying Black-olive soap is applied all over. It is followed by scrubbing the body to remove impurities and dead skin. After a rinse, a protective and hydrating Dead Sea Clay mask is applied, which enhances skin elasticity, reduces the appearance of pores, and smoothens fine lines and wrinkles. While that soaks in, your hair is being washed and conditioned, with a relaxing head massage. You feel you have reached heaven already.

5.) QUA SPA, CAESARS PALACE DUBAI

Find your Zen with an elevated spa experience at this swish five-star beachfront resort, Caesars Palace Dubai. Qua Spa, as the name suggests, imbibes Japanese spa treatments each of which are designed to nourish your body, revitalise your existing beauty regimen and restore a sense of balance and wellbeing. From the 60-minute ‘Inner strength and Resilience Treatment’ that focuses on the back, scalp, legs and feet to the revolutionary, ‘Detox Dome Treatment’ that uses infrared rays to deeply cleans the body and help gain efficient and long-lasting slimming effects, the spa menu has a wide variety of offerings.

STANDOUT FEATURE: There are quite a few but for a bride-to-be, we recommend the Beverly Hills Vitamin Therapy with its specially formulated, instant shots of essential vitamins and minerals. A close second is ‘The Cleopatra,’ a tailored multi-mineral vitamin blend to help brighten the skin with its blend of super antioxidants, immunity boosts and detoxifying chemicals For massage lovers, a great option is the 50-minute Japanese pressure point Shiatsu Fusion Massage and the deep tissue release with ‘Muscle Melt’.
